Our signature midnight biking tour has been active for the past five years and is consistently selected as one of TripAdvisor's most recommended activities in Jerusalem. As night falls, the city goes to sleep… the Old City clears from pedestrians… That is when our tour begins! Join us for a 3 hour long urban bike ride through the magical streets and alleyways, as we discover secret passages and search for the many glittering lights scattered across the Old City. The tour visits a number of key attractions in the old city of Jerusalem, as it passes through the Jewish, Armenian and Christian Quarters. Among the attractions viewed on the tour are: the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the Latin Patriarchy, the Tower of David, Zion gate, the Dormition Abbey, the Jewish Quarter Plaza, the Roman Cardo and more! The tour also includes a short visit to Mishkenot Sha'ananim's viewpoint on the Old City, which has a breathtaking view at night. The tour includes bikes, helmets and full guidance by one of our professional, fluent English speaking guides.

    Highlight points of the tour:

    • Mishkenot Shaananim – Moshe Montifyori’s windmill – beautiful lookout over the old city walls. Built in 1857 during the Ottoman Empire rule of Jerusalem, renovated in 2012 with a new cap and sails, it hosts today a small museum presenting the amazing story of the breaking out from the Old City walls and creating Jerusalem as the megalopolis it is today.
    • Jerusalem’s renovated First (train) Station, right on the edge of the Rail Park. a lovely outdoor compound with the original building of the first railway station in Jerusalem, today it is a bustling boutique festivals and food area. Who knows? you might bump into a jazz festival or beer tasting, there is always something happening there.
    • Riding through the magical alleys of the old city, spacious and lit up at night, amazing experience – don’t miss it! The Armenian, Christian and Jewish quarters are usually super busy during the day, with masses of people visiting them. As the night falls the Old City empties and riding the bikes through the small but spacious alleys is a once in a life time experience.
    • Lookout over the West Wall and Temple Mount from the Jewish Quarter. One can stand and watch the West Wall for hours, there is always something happening there. If it’s a big Slichot Prayer with tens of thousands participating, to a small family celebrating their Bar Mitzva or Wedding to come, the west wall is the most sacred point these days for Jewish people, a standing relic to the old Jewish temple and a center for all prayers and beliefs.
